First teams announced for SC2ITL S6

A few days ago we announced the SC2Improve Team League S6 to be starting in January. Over €2000 of prizes will be on the line across three divisions of play, enabling teams of all skill levels to come and take part in the competition. Today we are happy to announce the first invited teams to the First Division of the SC2ITL S6! Let us know who you're excited to see and who you're hoping to see announced next!

Team Liquid are the returning champions after they won Season 4 in an action-packed final against Dignitas-Dead Pixels back in July. Liquid have always been extremely popular among fans. With a strong foreign line-up of some of the best foreigners in StarCraft such as Snute and recent WCS finalist MaNa, they are definitely going to be great contenders to once again take the SC2ITL title. Will you be cheering for the Team Liquid again in Season 6?

mYinsanity have been a part of the SC2I Team League since the very first season - where they came out ahead of 50 other teams to be the first ever SC2ITL Champions. Unfortunately since then they have not been able to repeat this result, despite their team consistently growing stronger with Koreans such as Sacsri and Rain. Their foreigner line-up is also just as scary with PtitDrogo and Serral both having strong performances during 2015. Is it time for mYinsanity to finally claim their second SC2ITL title?

Team Extreme Supremacy not only return as sponsors of the SC2I Team League but also as competitors. An underwhelming performance in Season 4, despite all-killing mYinsanity, is something which they will look to put behind them as they enter the new Season. With new Korean recruits Ryung, a player who had an 8W4L  record in S4 with Axiom-Acer, and TOP, one of the strongest players during the LotV Beta, Team Extreme Supremacy will be looking to make the playoffs for the first time this Season.

Ecvisualize had an incredible performance during Season 4, despite being a team many had not heard of before. They made it to the Playoffs on the back of victories over teams such as Property. They almost caused the largest upset of the tournament in the Playoffs as they went up 3-0 against Axiom-Acer, before being reverse all-killed by Heart (who boasted a 90% win rate during the Season.) We welcome them back as a stronger team with new members such as Nation Wars sensation #CLADTHELAD (Cladorhiza).
